Miami, a paradise!

This is our first post outside of Austria,...finally!

Our journey started at the airport, where the first problems occured. We found out that Canada and also the whole Caribbian are inofficially part of the US...which was kind of stupid for us because we have booked all flights (so far) in this area. Hence we had to book an additional fake flight back to Vienna, which we will cancel after we have booked the flight to Costa Rica. Here we want to thank Regina who helped us out at this point.

Now to Miami...it is awesome. We have almost 30 °C (90°F) every day. We booked an appartment on Ocean Drive which is the best area in South Beach Miami. Here is the most famous Art deco district which glows in the night like a christmas tree. Very beauiful. The best clubs are in working distance, like Cameo where we went on Friday. We have to say, the club and location is nice but it is way too expensive and you have just space to dance in the VIP area. That sucks! 14$ for a Gin Tonic,...ouch!

After such a night, we charged our batteries with a huge steak and salad.

We cooked together, Mike made the steaks and I prepared the salad.

Saturday we decided to go to Mangos, which is a sort of dance-restaurant and show...we do not have such a thing in Austria...beautiful woman they can shake their bodies I have never seen before and sexy guys who faithfully capture Michael Jackson.
The drinks are not that expensive as in Cameo and you can choose between several bars. It is very lively and the people there love to party and scream when a sexy waiter undresses is upper body parts.
You can also eat inside..but here I am not able to give any infos because we did eat at home.

 All in all a great night.

Sunday is a lazy day, so we went to the only beach in Miami where you are allowed to be topless or totally naked (Haulover beach park). Normally, you come into prison if doing so. The funny thing was that we thought we are on the right beach (we where too much South)...so I did something illegal in USA...already on the 3rd day.

Nevertheless, I got a tan today...that's important.
