I am not dead!
I had really a bad issue which takes weeks to recover. After 2 surgeries, pain pills, blood loss and positive thinking I can restart my journey next week on 30th of December.
However, it is better to look at the positives sides of such a bad thing:
1) I could see some friends again.
2) I finally finished my publication about fighting e.g. MRSA. It was re-submitted on 22nd of Dec. So wish me good luck that the taff editor will like it this time!
3) I went to Amsterdam for a cool party with my brother in law Markus.
4) I lost weight...
5) I finally played with my fire stick again...I missed u little friend!
I also realized that you ought to enjoy every second of your life because it can change dramatically. I promised myself to do that even I am sick, hurt or wathever. If you look back later on, you just see what you missed during moaning.
Enough about that shit...I want to tell you about Amsterdam:
We arrived on Friday 16th and stayed at Melissas place. She was my and Markus' first surfing experience. I have to say...it was awesome to have HER being my first host. She lives in the center of Amsterdam in a gorgerous roof top appartment. She offered me a hot bath just after arrival, shic saved my day because we didn't sleep so much. Friday we ended up chatting a lot, drinking wine and a lot of funny stories were told. We met also her friend Rod, who is by heart a technician.

Then we went to DIRTY DUTCH! This is a Electro and Hard House party. If you do not know suc parties in the Netherlands you really should go to one. There weren't 10 000 people...there were around 40 000!!! It is soooo well organized that you never wait for a drink and you get lockers for your stuff. The party itself lasted from 11 pm until 7 am. We were dancing all the time with 5-6 red bull in our blood venes. I met nice people as Desmond and his brother. Imagine me as a tall girl is at least not the tallest at a party! I love that ;)

After the party, Melissa made us a delicious dutch breakfast! She is really the best host you can get!!
We chatted a lot and went to club Stone's (red light) before we left to the airport!
I have to say Melissa, you are one of the most memorable persons in my life!! I will miss you!

So,...
Next week I will be in Miami again. Even I am not completely functional I will party hard!
